They cause native, indigenous microorganisms, already present in the wastewater, to replicate exponentially consuming and biodegrading the sewage while providing additional benefits on an ongoing, flow through and permanent basis.
EBD systems cause unstable and oxidizing ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species) to stabilize in air, water and soil creating healthy oxygen at the molecular level.
This ROS-to-healthy oxygen conversion process is exceptionally beneficial for native indigenous microorganisms present in the air, water and soil.
EBD resolves ongoing septic problems by enhancing the system, preventing costly and disruptive switches to city sewer systems, saving time and money.
All matter is made up of atoms — tiny building blocks that include protons, neutrons, and electrons. Many natural and industrial processes depend on how electrons are transferred or shared, especially when it comes to pollution and environmental stress.
When soil or water is contaminated (Like with your poop), it becomes toxic — not just to humans and plants, but to the beneficial microbes that help ecosystems stay balanced and self-cleaning. A major culprit behind this damage is something called oxidative stress, which is often caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS). These unstable molecules behave like microscopic wrecking balls, stealing electrons from other molecules and triggering a chain reaction that harms biological systems.
Much like antioxidants protect our bodies from oxidative stress, the Environmental Balance Device (EBD) helps neutralize the effects of ROS in the environment, restoring microbial balance and promoting recovery.
EBD works by interacting with natural energy fields. These interactions influence the molecular and ionic behavior of nearby materials, restoring balance at the electronic level and affecting redox reactions, hydrogen bonding, and microbial energy exchange. When placed in a polluted environment, the EBD helps shift the energetic balance of the system, encouraging a healthier molecular state.
Independent lab testing has shown that water exposed to EBD undergoes measurable changes in:
Molecular structure (NMR analysis),
Shifts in surface chemistry (elemental spectroscopy),
Increased ion availability (key nutrients and redox elements).
These changes create a more bioavailable and energetically optimized environment — where microbial communities thrive, pollutants break down more easily, and natural systems begin to self-repair.
By enhancing nature’s existing recovery processes, EBD helps reduce the need for synthetic chemicals or energy-intensive treatments. It offers a clean, affordable, and science-backed solution to improve soil health, agricultural productivity, and wastewater performance — supporting a more sustainable future for people and the planet.
In independent university trials:
Methane (CH₄) reduced by up to 99.6%
Ammonia (NH₃) down by 99.4%
Nitrous Oxide (N₂O) cut by 98%
Translation: Fewer stink bombs. Your yard stops smelling like a porta-potty after a music festival.
(External validation: Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), Spain)
After installing EBD:
E. coli reduced by 99.3%
Total coliforms down by 98.7%
Enterobacteriaceae? Sayonara — 99.3% gone.
The good bugs thrive. The nasty stuff? Ghosted.

No. My Poop Stinks does not require electric power, chemicals, or any type of consumable and their service life exceeds 15 years.
Yes. My Poop Stinks can be installed on top of or above septic tanks. They must be installed in a horizontal position and NOT install vertically. The disks may be installed face up or face down as well.
Bury the disks in the soil at 16” (40 cm) in depth directly above the tank corners. However the disks must be at lease 36" (90cm) from the top of the tank. You can even secure the disk right to the top of the tanks corner.
If you are not sure where your tank is at all? We have a process for that. Just let us know and we can help!
4 disks are required to work hand and hand with Conventional Septic Tanks or Holding tanks to enhance efficiency in your system. These are the most common residential septic systems.
2 disks are required to work hand and hand with Advanced Treatment Unit(ATU) systems to enhance efficiency in your system. These are much more complex systems that include aeration and blowers. They are more specialized systems and usually require additional maintenance. But because of the additional features, only 2 disk are required to provide the same efficiency.
Sludge Reduction Without Chemicals In wastewater trials, EBD reduced:
BOD₅ by up to 82% (Biochemical Oxygen Demand = how gunky your poop juice is)
COD by up to 98% (Chemical Oxygen Demand = total gunk potential)
Suspended solids by over 83% (a.k.a. floating poop bits)
Translation: 💩 gets broken down faster, better, and without those crusty leftovers that make your tank scream.

EBD technology doesn’t use:
Power
Filters
Chemicals
Wi-Fi
Ritual goat sacrifices
It just works, by stabilizing the energy balance of water, air, and solids inside your tank — creating an environment where waste breaks down more efficiently.
Your water molecules after EBD? Less stressed, more blessed. (Science calls it entropy. We call it relaxed poop juice.)
Tank therapy without the therapy bills
Throw in a “No Stink Disk” and Chill
Flush it and forget it. We’ll handle the aftermath.
Turning stink into sparkle, one septic tank at a time.
Because your septic tank deserves self-care too.
Out of sight, out of smell.
No chemicals, no filters, no problem. Just science... and your poop.
15 years of silent service. Unlike your uncle at Thanksgiving.
Cleaner conscience. Cleaner tank. Cleaner air.
Bullseye! Direct hit on odor, sludge, and septic stress.
Hot poop tech, no BS.
Unleashes good bacteria. Evicts the bad guys. Like a probiotic for your poop.
Over recent months, we had the opportunity to present the Environmental Balance Device (EBD), an innovative solution for air and water treatment challenges across industrial, municipal, and residential sectors.
The EBD system offers a certified and sustainable alternative to traditional treatment technologies. Designed to operate without electricity, chemicals, or consumables, EBD systems deliver measurable benefits while requiring minimal maintenance and offering a service life that exceeds 15 years.
The Environmental Balance Device (EBD) is a passive treatment technology engineered to remove greenhouse gases and odors from the air and to control scale, fouling, and corrosion in water systems.
The system operates continuously, does not rely on external energy sources or chemical inputs, and can be installed both indoors and outdoors.
EBD functions without reliance on conventional inputs such as electricity, consumable chemicals, or replacement parts.
Once installed, the device begins immediate operation, improving system performance and environmental quality with no need for external intervention. This simplicity, combined with robust third-party certification, makes the technology both efficient and reliable.
The performance of the EBD system has been validated through independent studies and certifications in multiple jurisdictions:
Spain – Ministry of Science and Innovation and the National Center for Scientific Research (CSIC): Certified GHG reduction including methane and ammonia
United States – Florida International University: Verified as safe for use
United States – State of Wisconsin and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College: Approved for septic systems and confirmed to reduce methane
